Fred Anderson,
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Anderson has an MBA and a B.A. from University of Washington and an M.S. of Management from MIT where he was a Sloan fellow. His areas of expertise are: product line management, information technology, and finance.
Fred had 25 years of experience at Boeing when he retired as Tatum Rotor Business Executive with responsibility for all business aspects including the re-structured Boeing/Textron Bell Helicopter Joint Venture. He was the Controller of Boeing’s Computer Services Group while managing the Divisions financial health and operations. He was a key contributor to Boeing’s corporate strategy of implementing their Commercial Aircraft and Defense product line, and was responsible for integrating the 777 Commercial Aircraft Japanese Aircraft Industry’s Fuselage design and production into Boeing’s operations. Other experience at Boeing included U.S. Government Congressional budgets and funding.
Fred was the founder and owner of Everclean Marine, a start up business in the residential and small yacht marine service industry.
Fred has served on various hospital and local service organization boards.
Bryan Kinnamon,
President
Mr. Kinnamon has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University, an MBA from The University of Akron and a M.S. of Management from MIT where he was a Sloan Fellow.
Bryan was the VP of Original Equipment for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. While there, he was also the director of Marketing-Consumer Tire Segment, North America; Technical Center Manufacturing in Akron; and Manufacturing Technology-International Technical Center. He was also the General Manager for the Commercial Truck Tires Segment and had progressive positions in Chemical Business and Corporate Project Management.
Bryan is a general management executive and company officer experienced at leading global marketing, sales, manufacturing and manufacturing technology. He is a results-oriented leader with a track record of increasing market share, profitability and improving processes to support growth.
Bryan has also served on the Board of Directors at several organizations including: Stan Hywet, Akron Child Guidance, Akron University National Alumni Board, Automotive Hall of Fame, Fisher Institute Akron University, Western Highway Institute, and The American Trucking Association.
Bryan was named the Akron SME Outstanding Sales and Marketing Executive for 2002 and The Akron University Simonetti Distinguished Business Alumni in 1999 and is a Leadership Akron Class X graduate.
Bryan was a previous project manager for Goodyear’s Guayle Rubber program along with Mr. Lawrence.
Dr. John Lawrence,
Vice President of Research & Development
Dr. John Lawrence has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Purdue University. He also has a B.S. in Chemistry from The University of Puget Sound.
John is a retired VP for Corporate Research and Director Materials Science for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. There he also was the Director of Applied Physics & Tire Mechanics as well as the Director of Elastomers & Reinforcement Research.
John was the Manager of Tire Reinforcement Science & Technology and a Project Manager for Goodyear’s Guayule Rubber program along with Mr. Kinnamon. He began his 35 year Goodyear career as a Senior Research Chemist.
John was a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council, College of Science, at Purdue University; a member of the American Chemical Society and a Judge for the National Collegiate Inventors Competition. He was on the National Polymer Processing Center Steering Committee as well as serving on the Board of Trustees for the Edison Polymer Innovation Corporation. He served on the Sandia national Laboratories Materials Science and Technology Review Panel.
Dr. Lawrence holds 20 U.S. patents and has several technical publications in refereed journals.
Thomas J. McGee,
Director of Marketing and Business Development
Mr. McGee has a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.B.A. from Kent State University, as well as, 38 years of experience in sales to the rubber industry. He was the national accounts manager for the Goodyear Chemical Division. In this capacity, key relationships were established with the major tire companies and all other significant rubber producers in North America. While at Goodyear, he was honored as being the Goodyear Spirit Award winner.
Thomas is a VP of sales at Americas International, a rubber distribution company, as well as a sales consultant. Thomas retired from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company as the General Sales Manager, North America after 38 years of service, beginning in R& D and continuing in various engineering, sales and sales management positions.
Thomas is a current board member and past Chairperson for the Ohio Rubber Group. He is a past board member of the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce and is currently active in the legislative issues committee as well as being the President of the City of Ashland Planning and Zoning Commission. He also is the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Samaritan Regional Health System, as well as an Advisory Board Member of the Fisher Institute for Professional Selling at Akron University.
